Running up that hill...

And trying to catch up.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this is definitely not the worst week yet of my semester. And yet, I feel so utterly drained, overwhelmed, and useless. I'm being productive, but oh so slowly and painfully. I don't know what's wrong with me.

Didn't do my second by-Sunday post, but Linden and I mutually decided we would grant an amnesty for our second by-Sunday's.

Since I'm failing at being academically productive right now, I figured I'd at least get one of my two posts I need by tonight out of the way. Luckily, I don't have class tomorrow. Unluckily, I have been drafted for pretty much a repeat of my Monday night full of wonderful Gemstone work. GAH.

Happy points of the week thus far:
- Qdoba yesterday
- Email from Varun
- Penn State interview invite (which I declined; reasons below)
- Business Law canceled on Monday
- Papa stopped by today on his way home from work =)

So, Penn State interview. The school is in middle-of-nowhere Hershey, PA (and no, Hershey Park does not count as "somewhere"). That's the first unappealing fact. Second, tuition is twice as much as at Maryland. On a related note, it's maybe about as good but not better. I think Maryland would actually top it in overall quality of education and available resources, so maybe not exactly quite as good. Plus they only offer interviews MWF, and my classes are stacked on MW; Friday availability will likely be significantly less than the other two days, since pretty much anyone prefers Friday interviews. Since even if I got in after the interview, I wouldn't pick Penn State over Maryland, I figured it was only fair to give up my interview spot so they could offer it to someone else. Nothing gained, nothing lost, and someone else can gain from it, right? =)

Anyway, I promised hiking pictures. I put a couple below, and here's a link to the rest. There aren't too many, and most are of the water, not the trail. Regardless, enjoy!
