The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Why is it I have so much work to do on the most gorgeous weekend of the year thus far? The fates are turned against me, clearly, seeing as right when my hell days end (aka Wednesday afternoon), the weather takes a turn for the worse, with a cloudy Wednesday and showers Thursday through Sunday. Sigh

I am currently finishing my venti caramel macchiato from last night while plodding through advanced financial management (aka studying for a midterm in BMGT440). I took a break a short while ago to take out the trash because have I mentioned yet how gorgeous it is outside?! Ahem. Yes.

I was going to strive for less "self-centered drivel," as Linden so astutely observed, but it doesn't seem to be working. I will say, I love my BMGT440 professor. I had her for my intro finance class, as well, and she's great -- well-prepared, has a nice voice (I know that's a superficial criteria to evaluate someone on, but it is so hard to concentrate in a class where your teacher's voice grates on your ears), and puts in so much extra effort to help us prepare for exams and assignments, etc. For example, she posted a video of her midterm review session from last week, voice-overs of one of her lectures and of a set of midterm review problems, a review sheet telling us exactly what types of long problems will be on the test (which make up 80% of it), AND four old midterms. I could potentially not even look at anything else and I'd be fine. *knocks on wood*

I have an article I've been keeping open in one of my tabs because I keep meaning to talk about it, except the last two weeks straight have been kind of crazy. I'll come back to it on... Wednesday, probably. Or Thursday. Oh the suspense!

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
