Revival Attempt #1

Things almost seem back to normal. I'm up at 2 a.m. reading for cell bio, because I have been slacking. But, it's all good; I'll catch up eventually, as I usually do.

Besides, it was worth it. Linden slept over Friday night, which was fun -- we watched lots of random Indian music videos, looked through some of my Italy pictures from the winter, then turned on Monty Python and the Holy Grail (finally!), the movie of the night. It ended around midnight, and then we started watching Drumline on TV. Good stuff =D I love that movie, though I think that's in part due to my sister being a drumline member now. She's lent me a new appreciation for it.

We slept around 4, but I woke up by 10:30 anyway. As usual. Nothing too eventful, 'til 3 p.m., when I went to the MD vs. FSU game with Dinesh. We won, though the second half was definitely better than the first. Not as much fun as the NC State game last Saturday, though. The win didn't quite make up for their pathetic loss to Duke last Wednesday, but I guess it was a valiant effort. Maybe. Kind of. Ish.

Linden left at 5:30. E5 went out to dinner for Katie, Kourtney and JohnS's birthdays -- 9 p.m. reservation for Maggiano's. Good food = happiness. Pratiksha, SarahP, Erik, KatieB, RachelB, Melissa, Ryan, Wendy, Liz, and Liz's friend Topher (sp?) were along for the ride.

Today was a study day, theoretically. It didn't quite pan out that way. I didn't do anything spectacular; just didn't feel like studying. Well, I did watch the good MD basketball team (aka our amazing women's team) play Duke today. We beat them, of course. Yea Kristi Toliver! I am definitely a fan =)

So, here I am, trying this whole revival thing. Hopefully I'll manage to keep it up. Cheers.
